Terms for the FrunkShow tools

What the tools are
Light Show writes the LightShow folder a car reads from a USB drive. Lock Sound trims a sound into a LockChime.wav under 1 MB. Both run in your browser.
Lock Sound is built; the light show is not. Lock Sound runs entirely on your device: your audio is read, trimmed and encoded in the page and is never uploaded. The only thing it sends me is a count of the files built.
Your audio
Use only recordings and music you own or have the rights to, including the underlying composition, and only where using them in your own vehicle is permitted.
Do not use these tools to copy, share, publish or sell audio you have no rights to. If you share a file they produced, you do so at your own risk.
Your vehicle
You are responsible for using light shows and external sounds lawfully. Do not run a show on or near a public road.
A show moves your mirrors, windows, liftgate and charge port door, and repeated dancing reaches the car’s thermal limits. Test somewhere safe, with space around the car.
What works depends on your vehicle’s hardware, software version, market and configuration. I am not responsible for how your car behaves.
Accounts and the free tier
Three creations a day without an account, no daily limit with one. The limit applies to anything that reaches my server; the browser tools are not metered.
An account is free, needs an email address you confirm by clicking a link, and has no password. You must be at least 16. An account holds 25 MB across 30 creations.
Unconfirmed registrations are deleted after 7 days. An account unused for 12 months may be deleted, after an email at 11 months. You can delete yours at any time from the account page, and that deletes your creations and your conversations with it — except a copyright notice or counter-notice, which I keep as a legal record.
Your creations stay yours. You grant me only the right to store them and hand them back to you.
Retention is in the privacy policy.
Copyright complaints
I respond to notices under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. My designated agent, what a notice must contain, the counter-notice procedure and my repeat-infringer policy are on the copyright page, which also carries the form. Accounts used to infringe repeatedly are terminated.
Not affiliated with Tesla
These tools are independent of Tesla, Inc. Using them creates no relationship between you and Tesla.
As is
These tools are provided as is, without warranty of any kind. To the extent the law allows, my liability to you is limited to what you paid me for them, which is nothing.
You agree to defend and hold harmless Derrick Keo and KeoCodes from any third-party claim arising out of content you supply.
If I change these terms, the date at the top of this page changes with them.
